The death has occurred of Bernie (Bernadette) Scott, (nee Wall) Cloonacauneen, Claregalway, Co. Galway and formerly of Bruckey, Castlegar.

 

Peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on 30th July 2021.

 

Beloved wife of Roy, devoted and much loved mother of Conor, Julia, Katie and Molly.

 

Bernie will be forever loved and sadly missed by her husband and children, her brothers Martin, James, John (Dublin), Thomas, sisters Mary (Turloughmore), Noreen (Wexford), Teresa (Currandulla) and Rita, her parents in law Paul and Heather Scott, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives, neighbours and wonderful friends.

 

Predeceased by her parents John Joe and Julia Wall and her brother Peter.

 

May she rest in peace

 

The Scott family would like to acknowledge the exceptional care and support of University Hospital Galway and Galway Hospice Palliative Care services.

 

In compliance with Government advice and H.S.E. guidelines regarding public gatherings with a maximum of 50 persons, a private Funeral Mass will take place in St Columba’s Church, Castlegar on Monday, August 2nd 2021, at 11.00am. Burial will take place afterwards in Killeen Cemetery.

 

Mass will be broadcast on Castlegar Parish Radio on 103.3 FM

and livestreamed on https://churchmedia.tv/camera/st-columba

 

Bernie’s family understand and appreciate that people would like to offer their condolences but due to current restrictions cannot, but instead, if they wish are invited to leave a message of condolence for the family in the 'condolences' section below.
