BETTY BANAHAN (née Donnelly) Cappagh, Curraghroe, Co Roscommon, May 29th, 2022. (Unexpectedly but peacefully); at Mullingar Regional Hospital. Beloved wife of the late Johnny, much loved mother to Ann, Martin, Elizabeth, Cathy, John, Noel, Majella and Timothy, grandmother of the late Joey and great-grandmother of the late Cody. She will be very sadly missed by her family, daughters-in-law Irene, Mary, Miriam and Sharon, sons-in-law Jimmy, John, Tom and Niall, her 26 grandchildren, her 7 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and many good friends.

 

May Betty rest in peace.

 

Reposing at Smyth’s Funeral Home, Roscommon on Thursday evening from 5.30 o’c until 7 o’c (walk through only please). Removal from the Funeral Home on Friday morning at 11.30 o’c arriving at St Mary’s Church, Ballagh for Mass of the Resurrection at 12 o’c. Following Mass the funeral will proceed via Cappagh to Cloontuskert Cemetery for burial. For those wishing to offer their sympathies, we suggest using the online condolence link below.
