Betty Heffernan (nee Enright) Maglass East, Ballmacelligott, Tralee, Co. Kerry and formerly of Ballyramean, Castlemaine. Peacefully, in the presence of her loving family, on July 18th 2021, after a short illness bravely borne in the wonderful care of the Palliative Care Team at University Hospital Kerry. Beloved wife of the late Eugene. Sadly missed by her loving family Michael, Caroline and Liz, sons-in-law P.J and Darren, her adored grandchildren Ailish, Helen, Jack, Sean, Ronan, Aoife and Elliemai, her siblings Mary, Helen, Bridie, John, Tess and Michael, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and her wide circle of friends in Ireland and in Leeds, UK.

In accordance with current HSE guidelines (max 50 people), a private family funeral will take place for Betty with her Requiem Mass on Wednesday at 11am in St. Brendan's Church, Clogher, Ballymacelligott, followed by burial in Clogher Cemetery. Please Note: The funeral cortège will depart Betty's residence at 10.30am on Wednesday morning and travel to the church, via the Tralee Main Road and the Half Way and depart the church at 12 noon approx and travel to the cemetery.
