The death has occurred of Brendan Aherne
Upper Lissivigeen, Killarney, Kerry / Fermoy, Cork

 

On September 14th 2020, Brendan passed away peacefully, after an illness borne with dignity and courage, surrounded by his family. Beloved husband and best friend of Noreen (Wiseman), adored dad of Jenny, Jason and Rory. Brendan will be dearly missed by so many family and friends who’s lives he enriched by his presence. Predeceased by his brother Jim, father Jim and earlier this year by his mother Kitty.

 

Remembered with love by his siblings Marion, Noel, Joe, Ger, Catherine, Anthony and Judith, nephews, nieces, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, extended family and his many wonderful neighbours and friends.

 

May his gentle soul rest in peace.

 

In accordance with HSE guidelines and in the interest of public health, a private Requiem Mass for Brendan will take place at St Mary’s Cathedral, Killarney, on Wednesday, September 16th, at 10:30am. Burial afterwards in Rathmore Cemetery. Messages of sympathy may be left on the condolence link below.
