Brendan Duffy

The death has occurred of Brendan Duffy, (Thursday 8th December) in the loving care of the staff of Abbey Haven Nursing Home, Boyle, Co. Roscommon. Deeply regretted by his loving brothers, Fr. Larry Duffy (Carrickmacross), Patrick and Peter Oliver (Dublin), sister Anna Byrne (Dunogue), brother-in-law Peter Byrne, nephew Damien, nieces Eilish and Rose, and Rose’s mother Maria.

Reposing at the residence of Anna and Peter Byrne, Dunogue, Carrickmacross today Friday from 12 noon until 8pm. Removal to St. Joseph’s Church, Carrickmacross on Saturday morning for Requiem Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in St. Peter and Paul’s Cemetery, Lower Magheracloone. Family Flowers only, donations if desired to Roscommon Palliative Care, care of Deery’s Funeral Directors, Carrickmacross or any family member.

House Strictly Private on Saturday.

Leave Carrickmacross heading out the Shercock Road (R178). Approx 2miles out of Carrick, turn left at Reilly’s Cross. Funeral Sign’s mark your route.
