Formerly of Clifden, Co Galway, on July 16, Brendan passed away peacefully following an illness borne with dignity and grace in the loving embrace of his beloved wife and best friend Anne Marie and his adoring and adored sons Ronan and Colin. Predeceased by his mother Barbara, Brendan is deeply regretted by his father John and his sister Geraldine. Brendan will be very sadly missed by his family and extended family - his parents-in-law Colie and Ann Mc Donagh, sisters-in-law Ailbhe Duffy and Ailish Mc Donagh, brothers-in-law Colm Mc Donagh, Michael Rocke and Brian Duffy, nephew Stephen, nieces Lucy, Alison and Jemma, relatives, colleagues, neighbours and his wide circle of friends.
Reposing at the O’Flaherty Funeral Parlour, Munster Avenue (H91V1K8) on Tuesday, 19 July, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Removal on Wednesday, July 20 from his home, to arrive at the Church of Christ the King, Salthill. Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Brendan on arrival at 11 a.m. Funeral after Mass to Rinville Cemetery, Oranmore.
