Brendan Maguire

Formerly of East Wall. Dublin, 3.

 

On Thursday evening, November 27th, 2025, Brendan completed his life’s journey in the loving care of his family and in the comfort and wonderful care of the staff of the Galway Hospice.

Predeceased by his beloved parents Edward and Margaret and by his dearly loved brother Edward (Teddy).

Deeply mourned by his devoted wife Angela (Patsy), sons Stephen and David and daughter Gillian. Sadly missed also by his daughter-in-law Vivienne, son-in-law Brian, much loved grandchildren Mia, Faye, Adam, Paige and Theo, sister-in-law Anna and nieces Suzanne, Fiona and Orla. Fondly remembered by the extended Maguire and Kelly family and friends.

 

‘God put his arms around you and whispered,

‘Come to Me’.

Funeral Arrangements

Tuesday, December 2nd, 2025

Leaving from his home in Bluebell Woods to arrive at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Oranmore in advance of Requiem Mass therein at 11 a.m. There is no reposing prior to the commencement of Mass.

Mass will be live streamed on https://www.oranmoreparish.org/live/

Mass is also broadcast on 105.3 FM. and available in the local area only.

 

Wednesday, December 3rd. 2025

The family will gather again at Dardistown Crematorium to say a final ‘Farewell’ to Brendan at 2.30 p.m.

Cremation will take place later and Brendan's final resting place will be in Rinville cemetery, Oranmore.

 

No flowers please. Memorial donations if desired will be gratefully accepted by the Galway Hospice.
