Bridget (Beenie) Mannion (neé Daly), Mannion's Cross, Clonaderig, Ballinahown, Athlone.
Beenie died on August 1st 2020 peacefully surrounded by her loving family at the home of Carmel and Gerard Larkin, Cooldorrougha, Ballinahown in her 99th year. She is a native of Cornafurish, Ballycumber and is predeceased by her beloved husband Tom. Beenie will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by her loving family, Ann Lynch (Birr), Michael (Lackagh), Marian Keegan (Moydrum), Carmel Larkin, Julie Larkin (Lackagh) and Padraig (Clonaderig), grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sons-in-law Jim, Michael, Gerard and Pius, daughters-in-law Chris and Ann, sister-in-law May Daly, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

In the interest of public health, Beenie's funeral will be private. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at a later date. The family thank you for your support, kindness and understanding at this difficult time. Messages of sympathy may be left in the condolence section below. Removal from the house in Cooldorrougha on Tuesday (Aug.4th) at 10.45am travelling straight through Doon Cross to Clonaderig, turning right to Ballinahown to St.Colmcille's Church for Requiem Mass at 11.30am (Max 50 people). Interment afterwards in Clonmacnois (via Clonaderig).
Friends and neighbours are welcome to stand along the route, in the church grounds and cemetery while following social distancing rules.
