Bridget (Bridie) Tighe, Stonefield, Carrowteige, Ballina, Co. Mayo, peacefully at the Mayo Hospice, Castlebar on the 22nd of October 2021.

Predeceased by her husband Michael, her parents, Dominic and Mary, and her sister Josephine (Josie). 

 

Bridie will be sadly missed by her loving and devoted family, sons Stephen (Stonefield), David (Stonefield) and Declan (Stonefield), daughters Catherine (Ballycastle) and Pam (Stonefield), sister Nancy (St. Neots, Cambridge), brother John (St. Neots, Cambridge), son in law Pádraig (Ballycastle), Pam's partner Mark (Stonefield), brother in law Doug Bundy (UK), sisters in law Joan McDonnell (UK) and Ivy Tighe (UK), grandchildren Lorna, Arlene, Emma and Patrick (Ballycastle), nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and neighbours.

 

May Bridie’s Kind and Gentle Soul Rest In Peace

 

Remains will repose at her daughter Pam’s residence (Eircode F26 X6Y9) in Stonefield on Saturday the 23rd of October from 7 o'clock until 9 o'clock and on Sunday from 3 o'clock until 5 o'clock. Funeral cortège will depart from Pam’s residence on Sunday evening the 24th of October at 6pm to arrive at The Church of the Immaculate Conception, Carrowteige at 6:30pm. Funeral Mass will take place on Monday at 12 noon with interment immediately afterwards in Kilgalligan Cemetery. Streaming of Bridie’s funeral services will be available for viewing on Healy’s Funeral Directors Facebook Page on Monday evening.

Due to the lifting of Covid 19 restrictions on Friday the 22nd of October, the church can be filled to full capacity for Bridie’s funeral Mass with all attendees wearing face coverings. 

 

A memorial Mass for the repose of Bridie’s soul will be held at a later date which will be announced in due course. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated by the family at this difficult time.
