Canon Richard Byron, late of Pallasgreen, Co. Limerick & Marshalstown, Co Wexford & the diocese of Menevia, Wales.21st April 2021 Peacefully at Singleton Hospital Swansea after a short illness.Pre deceased by his parents Con & Mary,brothers Jim & Fr Paddy. He will be greatly missed by his brothers Fr Bill, John & Con Sister in law Frances,nieces Siobhan & Jennifer & their husbands John & Conor, nephews Brendan & John & their wives Gena & Jo, grandnieces, Isabella & Rachel, grandnephews Jack, Lachlan & Scott, cousins & friends in Ireland & Wales, the nuns of the Stella Maris Convent in Swansea who were so good to him in recent years,the priests of the dioceses of Menevia & Cardiff & his friend of many years Fr Danny McDonald Wexford.The funeral Mass will take place in St Joseph's Cathedral Swansea at 10.30am on Wednesday 5th May & will be live streamed on the Cathedral Website. He will be buried afterwards in Morriston Cemetery, Swansea,Memorial Masses will be celebrated in Nicker Parish Church, Pallasgreen & in Marshalstown Parish Church when Covid-19 restrictions are lifted.Condolence messages can be expressed through the condolence section below.
