Carmel Doherty (nee Murtagh), Ballinvalley, Delvin, Co. Westmeath, died on 26th November, 2018, peacefully, in the exceptional care of her loving family and staff of St Elizabeth’s Nursing Home, Athboy. Predeceased by her beloved husband Eugene, infant son Gerard, grandchildren Stephanie and Eoghan.
Loving mother of Joe (Cork), Thérèse Lydon (Galway), Ita Richardson (Limerick), Olive Leonard (Delvin), Patrick (The Downs) and Catherine Daly (Glenidan). Sadly missed by her sons, daughters, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, her nieces and nephews – the Tullys (Frenchpark, Roscommon), extended family, neighbours and a large circle of friends.
May Carmel Rest in Peace
Reposing at her home N91A781 (eircode) on Wednesday, from 1 o’clock followed by prayers at 8 o’clock. Funeral Mass on Thursday at 12 o’clock in the Church of the Assumption, Delvin. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
