Carmel passed away peacefully in the wonderful care of Midlands Regional Hospital Tullamore after a very short illness bravely borne and had been previously cared for by the dedicated staff in Esker Ri Nursing Home. Carmel is pre-deceased by her beloved husband Michael. She will be sadly missed by her adoring son Michael, sisters Kathleen Cleary, Patti O'Grady & Ann Curley, brothers Tony & Teddy, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces and the amazing neighbours & friends in Tinnycross.

The family have requested that people respect their wish for the house to be strictly private. Carmel's funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday the 21st of June at 11.15am in the Church of the Assumption Tullamore with burial afterwards in Durrow Cemetery.

Due to the current restrictions and in the interest of public safety the funeral mass is strictly for family only. People may pay their respects by standing along the route to the church, in the church yard and in the cemetery. If you wish to leave a message of condolence, please do so below.
