Chriss Deane
(née Copithorne)
DEANE (Derrygareen, Skibbereen): on January 17th 2023, suddenly, but peacefully, at her residence. CHRISS (nee Copithorne) (N.S. Teacher) in her 90th year. Beloved wife of the recently deceased John, much loved mother of Stanley, Norman, Rhona and Colin, mother-in-law of Tjorven, devoted grandmother of Hazel, Alice, Ruben, Jasmin and Willow. Sadly missed by her heartbroken family, daughter-in-law, grandchildren, sisters Evelyn (Copithorne) and Winifred (Allen), nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.
Reposing at her home (Eircode P81 H210) on Thursday, January 19th 2023, from 3pm to 7pm followed by prayers. Please approach the house from Oldcourt, as there will be a one way system in place. Reception into Abbeystrewry Church at 12 noon on Friday, January 20th 2023 followed by Funeral Service at 1pm. This will be livestreamed via corklivestream.com/funerals. Funeral afterwards to Creagh Cemetery.
The family would like to thank Dr. Mairead Wilson and all the carers for the wonderful care shown to Chriss.
