The death has occurred, in her 85th year, of Christine Carney, Lynns, Annagassan, peacefully at The Louth County Hospital, Dundalk. Christine, beloved daughter of the late Margaret and Joseph. Predeceased by her sisters Maryanne, Rose, Sarah and Julia and her brother Augustin. Sadly missed by her nieces Carmel (McGrane), Margaret (Sharkey) and Margaret (Englishby), nephews George (Clinton), Pat and Gerard (Sarsfield), Tony (Englishby) and Joseph (Shearman), grandnephews, grandnieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Rest in Peace

A private family funeral for Christine will take place due to Government advice regarding public gatherings, with numbers limited to 10. Removal from Connor's Funeral Home, Dunleer on Wednesday at 10.30am to Saint Finnian's Church, Dillionstown arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in Kilsaran Cemetery.

 

There will be an opportunity for the community to support the family and remember Christine by being present, socially distanced, on the route to the cemetery, via Annagassan, her home and Castlebellingham.

 

Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, in lieu to Palliative Services, Dochas Centre, Drogheda.

 

Those who would like to attend but cannot due to Level 5 restrictions, may leave a personal message in the Condolence section below.
