Lahernahone, Ballyconnell / Kiltrasna, Corlismore, Ballinagh, Co Cavan

Con McGerty, Lahernahone, Ballyconnell, Co Cavan died 16th November 2025, in his 95th year, peacefully surrounded by his loving Family and in the care of the Nurses and Doctors at Cavan General Hospital.

Pre-deceased by his Parents John and Elizabeth, Sister Lily, Brother’s John James and Eddie and Niece Suzanne Millman.

Sadly missed by his Sister Ann Gaffney, Kiltrasna, Corlismore, Ballinagh, Nieces Lillie McGerty (Pindy) and Lily Browne, Nephews Kieran McGerty (Amanda) and Eamonn Gaffney (Aishling), his Grand-Nephews and Grand-Nieces, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Remains arriving at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Ballyconnell tomorrow evening Tuesday at 7 o'clock. Funeral mass on Wednesday at 12 o'clock. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. The funeral may be viewed on the following link: https://www.churchtv.ie/ballyconnell/
