Sincere sympathy to you Frank and all the Cunningham /Curran family on the passing of Ailbhe. May her gentle soul rest in peace.
My dear Frank and family, I was indeed so very very sorry to read of Ailbhe's death. All the tributes to her were nothing but the truth. Such a lovely and lively woman who engaged with everyone and had the knack of making lasting connections. She was much loved.
I watched the live stream and found it very emotional.
To you all, I wish you the courage to continue on and remember her great tenacity for living.
Sincerely AMK Maureen Lenihan's niece.

Sincere sympathy to Frank, Niall, Tarragh, Aisling, Margaret, Síofra, Mary, Noel and the extended Cunningham and Curran families on the sad death of your beloved Ailbhe, RIP..
Ailbhe certainly was a beautiful, friendly, kind, warm, talented and cultured lady, who I was privileged to have known since she and my cousin Frank, married.
I was further privileged to have been a guest in their lovely home in 1995, when in Australia on Comhaltas business. Ailbhe received a fitting 'send off' in the beautifully arranged Mass on Tuesday morning. Go raibh míle maith agaibh uilig.
Go ndéanfaidh Dia trócaire ar a h-anam uasal. Ní imithe uainn atá sí, ach imithe romhainn.

We are so sorry to learn of Ailbhe's death - ar dheis Dé go raibh a hanam dílis.
Our deepest sympathies to Frank, Niall, Tarragh, Aisling, Margaret, Siofra, her six grandchildren and the wider Cunningham and Curran families.
Ailbhe was an absolute gem of a lady - loved by all who met her. When we first went to Liverpool in 1977, with our then three children under 5, just as she had been with all other new arrivals, Ailbhe couldn't have been more generous and kind to us in terms of her welcome, practical help and her selfless support - this despite her own busy family responsibilities. This was the start of an enduring friendship.
Ailbhe was the person that did most to ensure that contact was maintained right up to the present day. Despite their 'helter-skelter' schedule when on their regular visits back to Ireland/Europe, Ailbhe made certain that a date would be set aside so that the four of us would 'catch up'. On just one occasion the reverse occurred when we were delighted to visit Ailbhe and Frank in their lovely home in Brisbane.
We were pleased to have been able to join the livestream of Ailbhe's funeral mass just now. What a lovely sequence of memories and photographs. Well done to you Tarragh for your beautiful eulogy.
Codhladh sámh, Ailbhe - go dté tú slán.

Sincere condolences to Frank and to all the family.
Knowing it was coming never makes it any easier.
Ailbhe and Frank were our heroes in Liverpool for 5 years, from 1977 until they emigrated to Oz.
They knew everyone and took all strays and new arrivals under their wing.
We saw her many times (and Frank - they were a unit) in subsequent years, in Brisbane, London, Waterville and Laois. It was always special.there are many memories.
For me, she will always be there, warm, welcoming, lovely and ladylike. I will see her smile forever.
Slam, Ailbhe.

It was lovely catching-up with Ailbhe and you, Frank especially in recent years supporting Sligo Rovers as Vintage Reds in the Showgrounds and at a cross discipline alumni event in what was UCG.
Ailbhe and I grew up in families which were seriously engaged with Rovers, especially through our Dads' involvement.
I have fond memories too of her late parents, Tommy and Peg, and her brother Liam.
May they all rest in peace.
