Dear Miriam, Ivan, Kathleen, Phil & families. I have such great memories of Aileen. I called to her at Bridehaven and each time was still amazed at her stamina & determination. I have many happy memories of spending time with you all at 103 Gerald Griffin Street as a child . The dressing up, the dancing to her great record collection & working in her shop , I had the holidays of every child’s dream! Her generosity to me continued through her time in Glanmire and the pride her & James took in their beautiful home & garden in their retirement was a pleasure to witness. Their love of dancing never ceased, even in Bridehaven apparently Aileen was known to throw her crutches aside and take the floor in her earlier time there. She will forever have a place in my heart, along with the love of her life James. A fun couple!
