Aunty Aine was a godsend when she came, every week, in the 1990s to teach Dick Tierney how to paint acrylics. I suppose she did it for her big sister Peggy, the first sibling to die in 1985. A huge undertaking helping a stubborn 80 year old to paint, but Aine had a gift. Her presence and kindness made such a difference to his wellbeing at the end.

so when you light a candle and you see it glow and you watch it dance, in your heart you'll know, that she would never leave you, even when you feel so blue.
She´s sitting up there with the Lord and now watching over you.

My sincere condolences. Auntie Aine was such a beautiful glamorous gracious lady, she will be sorely missed.

I was so sorry to learn of the death of dear Aine. She and so many of the Sheehan family were such great members of Elm Park Golf Club over the years. I was always delighted to have purchased one of Aine’s beautiful paintings at the annual Art Exhibition in the Club. She was such a talented artist. My deepest sympathy to the extended family.
