Heartbroken that the day has come to say goodbye to our beloved Uncle Alfie. He was the beacon that drew the whole family home from across Ireland, England, and the US, always greeting us with a warm welcome and that unmistakable twinkle in his eye.

We have so many fond memories of Uncle Alfie, who had a way of making even the simplest moments feel like an adventure (especially for his city nieces, whom he patiently pulled out of ditches more than once). His quick wit made every visit to Lavareen memorable. Family gatherings won’t be quite the same without him. He will be dearly missed.
