Amelia was such an amazing friend to Úna, a beautiful person and a gorgeous girl. She was genuinely happy for everybody and loved by everyone. Úna is heartbroken and she will miss her forever.

I'm so grateful to have known Amelia for the two years that I did and I will always cherish our shared smiles, laugh, bus rides and burritos. She always had everyone smiling or laughing I'll never forget all the times we went to the square after school or walked to her drama classes and not not once did I leave her side without a smile. I'll always remember us on buses home from school wether it was the s6 or the 75 playing games on our phones against eachother but giving up half way through and just ending up working together. She was overall just a vibrant, kind, outgoing, funny and beautiful person inside and out. The impact she had on the world in her short time will never ever be forgotten. Amelia Belle, I was and am so proud of you. You always worked so hard to make everyone feel good about themselves (after you had figured out if they were good people of course ! ) which made you the most genuine and loyal person to anyone who was lucky enough to know you. Your interests in music, people and other cultures and love of languages and always trying to be the best version of yourself is truly admirable. You always stuck up for what you believed in, even if it wasnt the popular opinion. You had high standards and were wise beyond your years emotionally. You have left a huge void in the world. Tom, I still cannot believe the pain and the suffering that you's are all going through, to loose your granddaughter, or for Susie to loose her daughter especially a child as beautiful as Amelia so suddenly is pain that no one should ever be asked suffer, you's are all in my prayers everyday, remember God will never hand us a cross that we cannot carry.

So grateful to have known Amelia and to have been friends with her. She was so full of life and was so funny and kind. Amelia was such a confident, friendly person and always made everyone feel good and included in everything. She was always there for everyone and she always had the right thing to say. School was amazing with her and we sat beside each other in most classes and we’d always come out laughing in all of them.

I am so sorry to be writing this message.

When I heard the news a few weeks ago, I could not stop thinking about Amelia's family and friends.My own 12 year old children had just returned from the Gaeltacht and I couldn't begin to contemplate the devastation of receiving such news.

Then I found out this week that it was your beloved granddaughter, I couldn't believe it. There are absolutely no words for such a tragic loss. I cannot begin to imagine how difficult the last few weeks have been for you and your wife on the loss of your beautiful granddaughter Amelia, your daughter and her husband on the unimaginable loss of their daughter and your granddaughter Poppy on the loss of her sister and best friend. My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this difficult time.

I hope you receive some comfort from the precious time you had together. May your angel Amelia rest peacefully in her heavenly bed and may she look after you all. Mind yourselves and each other.
