So sorry to hear of Ann's passing and sadly belatedly and very sorry I missed the funeral. Ann was my mother's (Marie Punch) dear friend for a lifetime and such great fun, fascinating company and so warm on her many visits to our house in Cratloe. My earliest memory is of going to Ballinahinch Castle and on the last time I met Ann at the Ennis Road nursing home was pleased to tell her I had gone back there many years after that first visit. I also recall with great fascination her stories from Isfahan and later her child rearing role in the USA. My deepest condolences to Eileen, Ann's nieces and nephews including the Keatings and John Keshvadian. May she rest in peace

So sorry to hear of Anne's passing. She was a great friend, confidante, travelling companion, and assistant to our mother Sonia during her many years in Cloona. We all remember her with great fondness and the whole of Westport was abuzz with her energy and verve while she lived here. Our sincerest condolences to you all.

I have such fond memories of meeting Ann many years ago in London. Her warmth, depth of character and palpable sense of possibility were immediately obvious - I loved that about her. I met her again a few times on her various trips and so enjoyed hearing stories of her life in London and her time in America. She was fun, light and always engaging.
In this sad moment of her passing, may I offer my deepest and heartfelt condolences to all of her family and to those who loved and cherished her.

Ann I only met you once but once was enough to let you know how eternally grateful I and my family are to you for giving us Anne. As her adopted younger sister I feel so, so fortunate that because of you, she was there ahead of me and ready to welcome me into our family. I can’t imagine what my life might have been without her and therefore by extension without you.
May you truly sleep in the arms of the angels…
— Carmel McAuliffe & Family

Ann you were one in a million. We loved all the times you came home to Ireland and you stayed with Dad and Mam. My four children adored you, they would sit around you while you told them stories and you could have heard a pin drop. I loved you so much then and I still love you now. My Mam Kathleen will miss you terribly, she is reminiscing about your school days, funny times that ye both had together and this continued all through your lives. Mam showed how much she loved you especially in the past two years when you were in the nursing home and she did her regular visits, you always loved the chocolate she never forgot to bring you and all the beautiful flowers she brought bringing the biggest smile to your face. You will never be forgotten by me and my Mam Kathleen. The light of heaven to you Ann and may your gentle soul rest in peace now 💝
— Judith Hurley nee Frawley
