We are so sorry to hear this news of Ann's passing and would have been at the funeral had we known in time. We have such lovely memories of Ann and Gus during their time in Carnadoe and all the visits to Slatta at Christmas with the selection boxes for our girls. We had a lovely reunion with Ann a few weeks ago in Carnadoe and she was in great form. We will keep treasured memories of her now and remember all Ann's family in our prayers. Our deepest condolences to you all on the passing of Ann. From the day we meet Gus & Ann, and they opened up their home to us, we felt so blessed. It was an absolute joy to know your parents, the most caring, wise and generous people one could have the pleasure of meeting. They set the bar for us all. May Ann rest in peace with her beloved Gus, who’ll no doubt be waiting with a G&T & the crossword. We are so sorry we can’t be there to celebrate Ann’s life with you all x

To Roger Sharon Bernard and Grainne and her sister Joan and all extended family so sorry to hear of Ann's passing. Always enjoyed our chats on the road when i was up visiting mum and dad over the years. Lovely discussions about the garden which she really loved. She then went on her way as Ann couldnt stand and talk she had to be moving and was probably heading to play bridge. As kids on the road she kept us in line there was no messing in those days. May you all have the laughs and some tears as you remember all the different stories over the next few days and weeks. May Ann rest in peace with Gus

I was so sorry to hear of your Mums passing. She always stopped for a chat and will be sorely missed by all who knew her, particularly Joan Merrigan . When we were kids the path was worn between Mullarkeys & Merrigans- we used to be so jealous that you had cousins living on the road. Another Ballytore oldtimer bites the dust.
