Resolve. It jumped out amongst all the lovely things the celebrant said at Anna's Mass just now. Her generation came with it built-in, not as an added extra.
Forty years ago, Anna kept me alive with lunches on a Monday and Friday, as she did with so many others. And the gifts of apple tarts for us all out in Maynooth. You don't forget those things. You are all in our thoughts and prayers.

She was a very special lady and someone we had great admiration and respect for. Another one of “the old stock” has left us but their legacy lives on in the values they have imparted.
