To jim and family my condolences on the passing of Bernie i had the pleasure of talking and always a little joke and a laugh with Bernie on my route in Balally it was always great to talk with Bernie .Rip Bernie

We were fortunate to know Bernie as a neighbour & friend. Her zest for life & travel created wonderful memories & she will be dearly missed. Condolences to Jim, James, Roisin & family.

I only learned today that Bernie had died. Please accept my deepest apologies for not being at her funeral. To Jim, Roisín and James I wish to express my deepest sympathy on the death of Bernie. She was a very good friend to me and I deeply appreciated her kindness. She was such an intelligent, multi talented woman that is was a joy to be in her company. May her great soul rest in peace.

Thinking of all of Bernie's family at this time. I hope the memories you shared bring some comfort in the months and years ahead. She was a smart, kind, welcoming person, who radiated goodness. Introduced me to the exotic delicacies of kumquats and impressed me with her wide knowledge when watching University Challenge. She was a beautiful human being, and I imagine, her loss is deeply felt by you all.
