Anthony O'Gara

My sincere condolences to Tony's family and friends. I knew Tony to be a very helpful person in UCD Computer Science and he will be fondly remembered. RIP Tony.

I worked with Tony for many years in UCD and would bump into him around Gorey or Courtown since he retired. He was a lovely person with mirthful smile and a great wit, and I have fond memories of the conversations we had on all sorts of topics. I remember in my time of sorrow when my mother died over 20 years ago and I was living in Dublin alone he helped me go through that time by just been there for me. Loosing Tony so soon is huge shocked to me I am still trying to process this lose :-( Only comfort I get is that he is in better place and didn't suffer long with the illness. May God rest his soul in peace & grant highest place in Heaven. Ameen
