Dear Jean and Mary.
My Mum Nancy (nee Moulton) and Alish were life long friends. We have photos of Aylish who was bridesmaid at my Mum and Dad’s wedding in 1955. She was so beautiful and what a smile! We met over the years as children. The last time they met was in 2018 when we drove to Bettystown for a lovely morning and lunch in the golf club. My Mum is in a nursing home in Rathmines and we often remember Aylish. She will be sad to hear that she is gone but she knows that Aylish had a good life. May she rest in peace.

She was a central part of our childhoods growing up next door to you, always smiling, always welcoming and I don’t recall a harsh word ever spoken as we retrieved many a ball that landed accidentally over the wall!
