I had the privilege of working with Bernie in M&S for many year's.
She always had a beautiful spirit about her that was magnetic. Anyone that knew her was drawn to her and loved her as a person for she was beautiful both inside and out.
Bernie was consistently kind, generous, thoughtful and hard-working.
She was a light in any room and I feel blessed to have known her both as a work colleague and a friend ❤️

So sorry to hear of Bernie’s passing, She was a beautiful person and have very fond memories of her, rip Dear Bernie, RIP.🙏🙏

Oh Bernie I cant believe your gone. You were the best step sister to us. You treated me like a sister and my kids like your own nieces and nephews. And you treated mammy like a seconded mammy. She could never replace your own lovly mammy. But you recognised she helped your dad so much. You loved her and she loved you. Our Condolences to all of Bernie's family. A former shipmate of ours, we have fond memories of working with her on the MV Leinster or having just a quick chat on trip-on/trip-off days when we worked on the opposite crew. I also have good memories of girls' nights out in Rumours Nightclub circa 1980's. Bernie was always great fun. RiP Bernie x
