BERNIE AHERN

Very sorry to hear about the passing of Bernie. He was such a lovely man. Loved to stop and talk about the hurling. I never saw him play in Gaelic Park but I saw him in his second GAA career, UMPIRE!! Bernie umpired in Gaelic Park for years, every Sunday without fail. Its volunteers like Bernie that make the GAA a success. Rest in Peace Bernie.
