I don’t know Bert personally only through my daughter but she told me lovely things about the family and when you hear good things about a family you hardly know it means the man of the house is a great man. Bertie you took me from Roscommon sixty years ago on an apprenticeship to you a master craftsman I got to see many towns with you and eventually Dublin. The night Nelson Pillar was blown up we had travelled from Drogheda to Dublin to see Thunderball and parked under the pillar only to hear the news next morning about the explosion.A gentleman to everyone and aways remembered RIP Bertie
