We were so sad to learn of Bill's passing. Without Bill, the master cobbler,many of us would have gone barefoot. If you wished to point out a gentleman to someone, then Bill was that man. He seemed to be always in good mood,a joy to meet and great conversationalist, be it sport, politics or other topical subjects. Genuinely loved when i left my shoes into Bill leaning through the hatch watching the mastercraftsman at work. So very sorry to hear this sad news. We got to know Bill and Gertrude at the pre Baprism course that they both facilitated. That girl is now 32. They were amazing and good fun.
