It is with deep sadness that we heard of Brendan's passing. A gentleman of the highest order, an eternal optimist, a generous soul that went out of his way to help anyone that needed it. I was so sorry to hear this news. I worked with Brendan in AFA O'Meara. He was superb at what he did, brilliant to work with and such a really good guy. Spent many hours / evenings endlessly discussing music (both big XTC fans) and lots besides. Rest in peace my friend.

Such lovely childhood memories of a gentle kind boy who we grew up with on the Hill in Belturbet. May he be in the arms of the angels and with his lovely daddy.

My sincere sympathy to all the O'Reilly family at this very sad time. Brendan and I were good friends growing up in Belturbet in the 1970s. Brendan leaves us with all good memories.
