To Dearest Ruby, I express my most sincere and deepest condolences on the loss of your loving Dad. Also to Brian's parents
and many friends and work colleagues including David and Mattie. Brian was much a peoples' person and had great charm, empathy
and was very caring. I first met Brian in 1996 thumbing a lift from Navan to Trim, that's the way it was in those
days, he had just started his 1st job near Kells. Thereafter, I would meet him in the Malt House, he had a thirst like mine
and we would have great banter, I knew him then to be a very special and loving person. During the boom in the early 2000's, he
was involved with many great projects in Dublin like Smithfield and the Grand Canal Docks, he was then the King of the Crane Drivers.
Later, in his home town, he would be involved with the Trim Castle Hotel. Brian was very musical and always headed to the piano
when he visited, he would also introduce my child to music in 2005 when he arrived one Christmas with a Spanish guitar. One of
his last projects in those years was the Wexford Opera House, how fitting, I remember him driving the whole way from Trim on the
1st day in case his driver would not show, such dedication. Brian was a dear friend, is a dear friend, will be greatly missed and never
forgotten. I remember you, particularly, on this very special day tomorrow the 17th February. Otto.
— Otto
So this is the last day I can say goodbye to you on this site, so many lovely condolences from people who knew you through the years, if only you knew how many loved and cared for you.
You were such a happy go lucky guy, always pleasant to people and a smile and a wave for anyone you met.
And its your birthday tomorrow, I always sent you a birthday wish, so wishing you the best of birthdays wherever you are, may you be at peace now and are looking down on Ruby and be her guardian angel to guide her through her life until you meet again.
Take her handy Ringo, ill raise a drink in your honour tomorrow, listen to a tune or two and smile because I got to meet you, its been a privilege skin. 🍻

"When I see you I'm gonna hold you close, I'm gonna hold you on the other side."

Kennington, 2005. And who shows up to the door looking for a room to rent only auld Skin himself!! The landlady, in her thick Northern Ireland accent says "Are ya good around the house?" Skin says "AM I GOING TO RUIN THE HOUSE? NOOO!! I'M NOT GOING TO RUIN THE HOUSE". I'm still laughing at that memory! The craic and the pints, East Street Market and the dodgy pubs on the way to the Walworth Road. The pink Christmas tree. The best coffee in the greasy spoon beside Kennington Park. The best times that I will treasure forever.

Thinking of you today, Brian, as you embark on your voyage. I know you are happy now, and free. Thinking of all your family, Nancy, Sham, Tracey, Jade, beautiful Ruby and all who were touched by your loyal and unwavering friendship.

May you rest now in eternal peace, Brian.

Until we meet again,
— Ann-Marie

We didn’t get to see that much of each other for the last while Ringo but no matter what happened, it won’t take away from all the nights we had down the years, in the Malt and beyond. Pints and guitars. You were a great man for music, so talented and an even better man for having a laugh with. Wherever you are, save a stool for me and I’ll see you again one day.
Rest easy skin.
