I remember Bridie with such fondness from my young days in Carlow when she had the most amazing ice cream shop on Tullow Street, Carlow.

We are all so sorry to hear of the passing of beautiful Bridie, We had become friends when enjoying visits to Kilcoole Lodge visiting with our Dad. I have lovely happy childhood memories of Bridie in Haydens Shop in Tullow St where we were neighbours, and then later of Jack and Bridie in the Lantern in Dublin St. It was our place to 'hang out' after school and we were always made feel so welcome.
