I have fond memories working with Bridie In the paediatric and all departments. She was very kind and gentle nurse and great mentor. I do remember she often spoiled all staff with her lovely baking at Christmas in those days going back years ago.

Bridie was an outstanding nurse. She was very diligent and intelligent. She knew what was best for her patients more than the doctor's did. She took all of us under her wing and mentored us and we learnt so much from her. She saved many babies from death when she was a midwife. All done without fuss or any spotlight. I will never forget you Nurse Brassil.
