I had the pleasure of making a trip to Medjugorje with your mother, Mary Coffey her life long friend & Marie Brannelly. Sorry Cathal I probably didn’t do a great job as at our first stop she banged her leg off the steel step of the bus which probably resulted in her having an ulcerated leg.which you no doubt had to deal with!🙏. She never complained. I only know Cathal personally. You were an exemplary son who devoted your life to looking after your mother. You two had a very close bond & your mother knew she would not have been able to stay at home in her own house had you not been there to care for her. You are a wonderful example of love in action. May Brid”s gentle soul rest in peace. I have no doubt her husband & son were there to welcome her home with open arms.R.I.P.

To Kevin, Anne, Cathal, Enda, the extended family and all who loved Mrs. Larkin, may I extend my deepest condolences. I am so sorry for such an enormous loss.

Mrs. Larkin, (I couldn’t call her Brigid, although she urged me to) was a remarkable lady. I find it hard to say goodbye to the woman who has been part of my life, for the most of it.

The twinkle in her eye betrayed her fantastic, sharp witted, sense of humor.
I loved her laugh.

She held a very deep faith and said many prayers for me over the years.

She will watch over all of you, her love won’t die. She will get you through the difficult grief that lies ahead.

I will miss my friend but was privileged to have such a wonderful friend.

She was a thoughtful and kind lady who regularly visited our father in Portiuncula Hospital towards the end of his life. A kind deed that will never be forgotten by our family.
