My deepest and heartfelt sympathy to the Stapleton and Ryan families on the sad passing of Brigid. It was only today ( 21st November ) that I learned of her death from the article in the Limerick Leader. I gave many years having my hair cut in O'Connell St. Going up the stairs and the frog croaking as you passed by, and all the pictures and sayings in the waiting room. And then Brigid came in and called you for your haircut. Pat alway told stories about cycling to Doon and Cappawhite once a month to cut hair. When a stroke limited his conversation, Brigid was always on hand to fill in. Two wonderful people who are sadly and greatly missed. May they both enjoy eternal Rest in the Arms of the Lord eternally.

Deepest and most sincere condolences to Nicola, Natalie and Buzz on the loss of their beloved mother. It is such a significant and life-changing event - my heart goes out to you both. She must have been so very proud of you all. May she rest in peace.

My sincerest condolences on the death of Brigid. I was a regular customer of Brigid and Pat Stapleton for many years and enjoyed their excellence as barbers as well as their warmth and sense of humour. They are both sorely missed, but are now reunited.

Saddened to learn of Brigid’s passing, a kind and charming lady who provided my hairdressing needs. Coming from Ballysimon we had nostalgic chats on old times at Monaleen school. Therefore my sincere condolences to Natalie and Nicola - whom Brigid was so proud of - and the extended Stapleton and Ryan families. She is now re-united with her beloved Pat.
