I have incredible recollection of Carls music lighting up living rooms on Carnew St, but my enduring memory is of him taking over the Steinway piano in the Apelphi hotel Liverpool and proceeding to play the entire Beatles back catalogue.

So sorry to hear of the untimely passing of Carl. I was so lucky to have met him when he accompanied us with the Arthur Cox Choir initially and then latterly with the Dublin Gospel Choir. I was also a massive fan of the George Michael Tribute Band with James Bermingham and in awe of Carl's talent. My sincere condolences to Carl's family, I can't imagine the loss you are feeling. His exceptional ability to put singers at ease brought out the very best in us and elevated our performances. He was a true gentleman.
