I was saddened to that Christy had passed away.He was not only a valued member of the Cherry Orchard schoolboy team in the early 70s he was also a schoolboy International.He had wonderful talent and scored many goals while playing centre forward.

Christy, when you lived in Clondalkin you’re favourite words to me was “ I don’t want to go to heaven, none of my friends are there” - Thanks for the memories, life is different without you. RIP
