Extremely sorry to hear of Claire's death. We had to miss her funeral.
She was a truly lovely person whom we knew since childhood in Dundalk. Our sincere and heartfelt sympathies go to Gary, Karl, Andrea and Irene on their loss.

Very sorry to hear about the passing of your lovely mum Claire. She was a good friend of my mother Margaret (nee Lawson) and when she came to our house, she always exuded gentleness, beauty and kindness. We always felt she was a special woman. I was so sad to read of her death. Claire was my first friend as she lived beside my family until I was 4 when we moved house. We lost contact, but she always remained in my heart as she was so kind. I often thought of her, talked about her and wondered where she was. One special
memory I have, I was playing with Claire and my Mom was looking for me, when I returned home she asked “Where were you”? Excitedly I said “Claire brought me to see a dead man”. It was so special, I can remember the house and the place. As I read the beautiful condolences I thank God that I shared in part of her life. Know that you all are in my thoughts and prayers. May the Lord comfort you in your great loss. Claire lives on in our hearts. Peace.

I have very fond memories of Claire. She stayed with me during Brackston-Hicks contractions, introduced me to raised beds, and taught me that rushing around will get you nowhere. She was a great neighbour and friend for many years in Woodfield. We are very sorry for your loss.
