My heart goes out to you on your loss. Claire was a truly exceptional human being. I was lucky to meet her through Dramsoc, and was
always happy when our paths crossed down through the years. I will cherish memories of her
intelligence, humour and love for her family and friends.

I am so sorry for your great loss.

Claire and I met in Bray on the 45a in 1986. We were travelling from the same bus stop to different secondary schools. We sat down together and continued to take that bus together, on and off, pretty much for the next 10 years, through our school and college years. We used the journey time to discuss all kinds of everything.

We bumped into each other again after a long absence and discovered we were both working as as producers - Claire in radio and me in television and it was lovely to see how happy and fulfilled she was in both her career and family life.

I will remember Claire and the time we spent together fondly.

Claire was such a highly regarded colleague and a true asset to any radio team. I always admired her fearlessness and ability to call things out. Claire was smart and funny and always genuine. I know she will be greatly missed.

David and Evan, really, really sorry to hear about Claire's passing -way, way too soon. She always had a twinkle in her eye - a mischeivious twinkle, that is. She had a right to lose her cool when I (probably deliberately) kept coming in too early with the 'yodely' bits live on air while she sang 'The Lonely Goatherd'.
She didn't. She laughed. She'll be missed...greatly.

Claire was a fantastic colleague in RTE Radio, and I am so sad that we have lost her... My favouite (and earliest) memory of her is when she joined Gerry Ryan in studio and belted out a very sultry 'Santa Baby' for him, and had the phones hopping!! Sincere sympathy to David, Evan and all Claire’s family. She was a great colleague in RTE: smart, funny, perceptive, and a pleasure to work with, and she’ll be remembered fondly.

I was truly saddened to hear of Claire’s passing. We were great friends in school in St. Patrick's and Loreto, sharing a love of music and many fond memories of our recorder lessons at Mrs. McCabe’s house. Claire’s boundless enthusiasm, optimism, and beautiful singing voice always left me in awe. Her wit, intelligence, and incredible zest for life were truly inspiring to everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. She was an extraordinary person, and her warmth and spirit will be sorely missed.

My sincere condolences to David and family. I have so many happy memories of Claire at mutual friends’ weddings or shows: immersing one instantly in a spellbinding conversation; winning you over with her warmth, sharp mind and quick wit and sweeping you off your feet with her brilliance. I was so shocked and saddened to hear of Claire’s passing last Friday .We had been in primary and secondary school together and had tread the boards under the watchful eye of the infamous Gladys !!!!

What a talented ,witty .courageous and intelligent woman she was .Never complained and put her heart and soul into everything she took on.Such a zest and passion for life -would put the rest of us to shame .

Thinking of the massive void she will leave in so many lives but especially her adored family .May you find strength and comfort in all the wonderful tributes ..She was truly amazing .

Claire was very gifted indeed a voice that I was always in awe of, she was also soo witty and smart. I always looked up to her in my school days and drama classes, because she was a true fighter so brave and strong in all areas. Condolences to her husband & son.
