To Ger and family , please accept our deepest sympathies on Clive’s passing .Pam and I have only fond memories of him in when we met , mostly in Portugal . Lots of laughs and discussions on the Irish rugby team and of course wine and food . Please know that we are thinking of you a this time , buoyed in the believe that his life was very well lived and he did get the most out of time on earth .

As a former colleague in Royal Insurance I wish to add to the tributes that those who worked along side him many years ago have graciously done . Clive was a gentleman to the core with that lovely trait of finding the joy of friendship with everyone he met . I wish I could post a wonderful photograph of the Christmas party of 1972 where Clive can be seen convulsed in laughter at the insane behaviour of who he thought were serious business colleagues after a few drinks on our Employer . His bonhomie and open disposition endeared him to many and even though there have been many sunrises since those happy years this sunset will never erase the light he brought to people’s lives.
