I always held Mrs Keniry with great respect since my School days when she taught me.

Pieces we did and they were then put into a book, and also a cushion cover with an owl on
The front of it which was hand stitched. These are just two of my many precious memories that I have.

Miss Lynch, as I knew her, was my first teacher in Killeagh National School many many years ago. As I got older, I came to appreciate the solid foundation and encouragement of learning she imparted to us in our formative years, through her skills as a teacher and her kindness and patience.

I have many fond memories of Mrs Keniry from Dungourney National School. She was a brilliant teacher, gave me a love of reading and poetry and taught me the needlework skills I still use today. I have told my children many fond and comical stories of my days as her pupil. I have thought of her often over the years and send my deepest sympathies to her family.
