There was a time when I was growing up when the kids from every house in our neighbourhood were part of an amazing group of children and teenagers who mixed together every single day. All of these kids looked up to Cormac. Gentle, kind to everyone he came across, and an extremely talented athlete. I looked up to him as a role model and I know every other young person in our gang of 80s kids did as well. I’m so sorry to hear he has left us at such a young age and I offer my most sincere condolences to his wife, children, wider family and friends. Very sad and shocked to hear of Cormac's passing. Spent so much time with Cormac over the years and he helped me overcome some of the biggest battles in my life and always found a way to brighten up the darkest days when there seems to be no hope. One of the biggest and kindest hearts you would ever meet. Every time I called him he always answered a cheerful "how you now". God bless Cormac. You will be missed by so many.
