So saddened to only hear of Dara’s untimely passing. Had the pleasure of meeting him at numerous outings and festivals, and what a soul to meet. May his star always burn bright for everyone he met, will be thinking of him as we walk tonight

Met Darragh at EP last year and year before and also at Vantastival.. Havé great memories of him wearing his tweed suit and of course his pocket watch. Such a beautiful and gentle soul our dear Daragh. When my son was 10 he was sitting with Daragh in the garden in Greenhollows Howth and my son has long red hair. He said to me “mum, see Daragh there. I think he’s so cool. I think he’s amazing and I know that when I become a man that this is what I want to be like”
Sadly missed young gentleman. Your kind and deep eyes telling tales of other worlds as if one foot was always worse where in this universe.

First met Darragh at the Sligo Fleadh Ceol, some years ago and met him last weekend, in the Cobblestone. Lovely person who left a smile on everyone’s face and a kind and generous man. A great supporter of anything that involved music and very encouraging to up and coming performers.

I have known Daragh for many years and it was a honour to have worked with him in both Paris and Dublin. He was one of life's great characters and the life and soul of any room.
