So sorry to hear of David ‘s sad passing , he was a lovely gentle person always smiling and full of fun. We all loved hearing him doing the Peter O Sullivan race commentaries you were really in his good books if you were picked as the winning jockey! Always so well turned out in his uniform that he proudly wore.
May he rest in eternal peace.
Very sincerely
Jo

To an uncle we never knew, from a branch of the Hammond family that you never met, separated by a lifetime and half a world.
As you are laid to rest, may the last embrace of the mother welcome you home.
May the weariness of your old bones fall away as you begin the next stage of your journey through the mysteries of the universe.
May your spirit know a youthful exuberance, excitement and joy as you embrace everything that comes next.
