I met David at york railway museum at an N gauge forum gathering and also attended (and still do) the zoom meetings we started when covid isolated us all. I will miss his contributions to our forum and offer my condolences to Louisa and the rest of his family.

I never met David in person but I amongst many others on the N Gauge Forum for model railways will miss him immensely. He was infamous for his 'groaners' thread and his sense of humour appreciated by all. He regularly spoke highly of Louisa and also of his love of their pets. I think I speak for many many people from the N Gauge Forum when I say he will be sadly missed. Condolences to Louisa and may David rest in peace.
