My sincere condolences to all of Denis’s family and friends. I have fond memories of technical drawing classes back in the 80s in Mooncoin, with Denis's words of wisdom and encouragement while we all beavered away constructing ellipses. Years later, I recounted a story to Denis of how we used some of his teaching to solve an ellipse problem on a project in Douglas Harbour, Denis had a pep in his step after that story. Rest in peace, Denis, I am forever grateful.
