I am so very sorry for your loss. Denise made an incredible contribution to hockey in Limerick over the years, and her absence will be deeply felt throughout the hockey community. Her legacy and the impact she had will be remembered for many years to come. She will be greatly missed. Rest in peace, Denise.

We were so sad to hear that Denise had passed away although our paths havent crossed for years the Hurleys were wonderful neighbours when we were growing up in Kilmurry road .We are thinking of you all at this sad time, Her lovely mam Phyllis sister Siobhan brothers Ted and james her husband,Daughters and Son and all the extended family.May she rest in peace with her Dad Jim . 🕊 🕊

Dear Malcolm, Phoebe, Lauren, James, Phyllis and the extended family. I am so shocked and sad to learn of the untimely passing of Denise. I met her many years ago when our children were much younger. We often met up in Synott’s (Tap House) at family BBQ evenings and it was wonderful. Denise’s warmth and kindness, her sharp wit and radiant smile was infectious. Her relationship with her Mum always impressed me and I often spotted them together walking and always laughing. Denise had a lasting effect on me. I am genuinely upset to learn of her passing. I pray the many memories you all shared as a family sustain you all on the more difficult days.

I was saddened and shocked to hear that Denise had passed away. We met in DS Parkway and while eventually life and work separated us, I will always remember her humour, her smile, her laugh and fabulous style.
My sympathies to her Mum, Brothers Sister, Husband and children, no doubt you are all heartbroken.

Life is so cruel & there simply are not adequate words... it was lovely to have bumped into Denise several years ago, following on from when you lived briefly in Caherdavin in the early '80's, and we had a lovely catch up and laugh, which I will remember fondly.
