I joined the refinery in June 1982 under Dominic’s supervision, just two months after my 20th birthday.
For the encouragement, loyalty, guidance and patience Dominic showed me in my 12 years on C shift I will be forever grateful. It stood me in good stead throughout my career in Whitegate.

My sincerest condolence's Colette, Michelle, and Bernadette on the passing of your dad. Uncle Dominic, God we loved when he visited us as kids or came to watch us in competition with the horses. I only found myself recently telling my own kid's stories of my uncle Domnic. Once in his excitement to keep me safe after I had a bad fall in a race, he knelt on my chest with full force, he then proceeded to shout at me not to get up. With laboured breath I whispered get off me Uncle Domnic, you're killing me. He then tuned on me asking what kind of fool I was, and if I was trying to kill myself or what. He was hilarious
The fun memories I have of you are priceless, rest in peace my uncle Domnic the most caring, loving, and excitable man I ever knew.
