It was with great sadness that I heard of Donal's passing. He was a man of total honesty and exercised great care and attention to detail when taking photographs of the children. His visits were greatly looked forward to and leave many, many happy memories.

We offer our sympathies to all of Donal's family. We were very saddened to hear of his death. Donal had a long association with Sciath na Scol where he was our photographer for our annual Finals Day. He was always most obliging and had a wonderful ability to capture the perfect photograph. These photos continue to adorn the hallways and classsrooms of the schools around West Cork.

So very sorry to hear of the death of my cousin Kate’s husband. You were a lovely man, Donal, and you made Kate very happy. I know how hard you found life after she died. Hopefully, you’re together again now.

I was very sorry to read of the death of Dónal R.I.P. I knew him for many years through his photography work when I was in Derryclough and in Skibbereen Girls’ N.S.

He and Kate made a great team and he had a very special easy way with the children and they always responded to him. It was always a pleasure to meet him.
